By Car

Approaching Whitland on the A40 from the west, stay on the A40 at the first roundabout signposted to Whitland. Continue to the next roundabout, and turn left towards Llanboidy.

Approaching Whitland on the A40 from the east, turn right towards Llanboidy at the Llanboidy Roundabout signposted Whitland to the left.

Immediately turn left after leaving the Llanboidy roundabout.

Continue on this narrow road for about a mile until you see the brown Abbey Ruins sign.

Please note that there is very limited space for car parking near the Abbey. Remember that heavy farm vehicles and lorries need to come along the road.

On foot from Whitland

From Whitland railway station, head east up St Mary’s road.

Turn right at the main road through the village.

After the Fishers’ Arms, find the public footpath on the left, signposted near a small postbox.

Follow the footpath for about a mile. (After about half a mile, it passes under the A40; take the left fork.)

Turn left on the rural road.

About 600m down the road, after continuing straight on at a junction, you’ll see the brown “Abbey Ruins” signpost.
